To check warranty status of your new HP device, follow the steps below:
- Take a note of your HP device’s serial number that should be mentioned either on the product package or your product body, or both.

- Open your web browser and visit HP Manual warranty check tool at https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
- In the given fields, enter your country of purchase and the serial number of your new HP device.
- Read the disclaimer below and click Check Warranty.
You will be able to see the warranty status of your new HP device on the next page. The HP Product Warranty Check webpage displays all your warranty information including the warranty category, the warranty status and the warranty expiry date of your product.
Using HP Support Assistant to check warranty of your new HP device
- Open your web browser and visit http://www.hp.com/go/hpsupportassistant to download HP Support Assistant on your computer.
- Click on the orange button above to start downloading.
- After the download completes, open the HP Support Assistant installer file and begin the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Use the search bar and type HP Support Assistant to find and open it.
- Go to My Devices tab and then select My desktop to open the detailed view.
- Select Warranty and Services on the new page.
- You will be able to see the complete warranty details of your new HP device on this page.
