How to renew AVG subscription : When you purchase a subscription plan from AVG for your AVG product, you automatically agree to a continuous subscription plan for your product. This means that at the end of the billing period, you will be automatically charged for the next billing period of your product.
However, if you had unsubscribed to the automatic billing plan, then you will need to manually renew your AVG subscription to keep your plan and your product active.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to manually renew your AVG subscription to keep your plan active and enjoy the services that are offered by AVG. There are three ways to manually renew your AVG subscription.
Renewing from your AVG Account
- First, log in to your AVG account from https://id.avg.com/sign-in
- In the new window, select the option
- Find the expired subscription and click Renew Now All expired subscriptions will be visible for 1 year from the date of expiry on your AVG account.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the renewal of your AVG subscription.
Note: If you do not have a registered AVG account, you will need to create one using the email address with which you purchased the AVG product. You may create an account from AVG’s official website and register your product under your new account.
Renewing from your notifications
Before the expiry of an active AVG subscription, you will receive a notification from the AVG software that is installed on your computer. You may renew your subscription from that notification. The steps below will show you how to do so.
- Click on the Renew Now button on the notification that appears. The notification generally appears as a sliding popup from the taskbar or as a popup banner on the desktop.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to manually renew your subscription with AVG.
Renewing from the reminder email
AVG will occasionally send you emails to remind you that your active subscription is pending a manual renewal. This is sent before the expiry of your active subscription. You may renew your subscription from that email.
- Log in to your registered email account.
- Open the email for renewal request from [email protected].
- Click on the link Renew Now to proceed to manual renewal.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the subscription renewal.
If you renew your active subscription before it expires, the new period of the subscription will end at the end of the original billing cycle.
